Year 2011 Day 229 August 17: Messages from June 22, 1980

Day 229 Date:  Wednesday August 17, 2011

Beginning Comments:

Like most people, dates from decades past do not have special significance, and mush together.

For me, June 22, 1980, however, was memorable.

It was the day I finally got up the courage to tell my husband at that time that I no longer wanted to be married to him.

I did not arrive at this decision lightly; also speaking this to a man who was charm itself to the outside world but who could be the epitome of verbal abuse at home also was not easy.

Many of our friends could not understand why I no longer wanted to live with this “nice guy”, and he made the lives of my children and me an ongoing hell until he finally decided to leave (about 3 months later).

What I am amazed at is that, on that day, I wrote a number of interesting “Non-sense ditties” (which is what I called them at the time):

Beginning Time:  N/A   Location:   Moundsview, Minnesota

Energy Shift:

"Ashunayetya!

A shallow pumpkin with a crooked grin

Lies in the patch like a veteran dancer

                        Watching the vines,

                                    Giving them life and growth.

            A pale moon stands awkwardly in space;

Its light shoots out in all directions.

To some, in new moon phase it looks dark

To others, at harvest, it is almost too bright.

Ring a gavel on a gravel walk

It marks a path of iniquity.

            Years later

The rains will have eroded the mark to a memory.

Where are the dancers when the music starts?

            Some are at home sleeping.

            Some are strolling the byways.

            Others are festal, earplugs intact.

And others, dressed in new clothes and shoes, tap to the beat.

A squeeze of the heart is usually harmful,

                          but not fatal.

Those that see it as the end have never known elasticity.

            Rain splashes, thunder rolls,

                  lightning splits a log.

Who is there to see it?

Do they fear it, or appreciate the

            rite of nature?

Wealth may be a state of mind

            chanced by knowledge and cynicism,

            A lung at emptiness

            or a sweet fulfillment.

Either a piece of bread or a diamond ring might do.

Ashunayetya!

                     Dori"

Ending Comments:

At the time, I was still tenuously connected to my guides; I can see the above ditties did their best to give me data through channels which were just beginning to open.
