Year 2011 Day 138 May 18: At the Top of the World

Day 138 Date:  Wednesday May 18, 2011

Beginning Comments:

As there isn’t any pressing issues or questions today, I will move into an energy shift:

Beginning Time:  MDT 5/18/2011 12:07:05 PM Location: Loveland, Co

Energy Shift:

"Ashunayetya!

Like most times when I ‘pot luck’ an energy shift, I find myself on the Doriville curb, waiting to see if Squiggi shows.

Today, it doesn’t, so I walk along Main Street wondering what I am going to do.

Then I look toward Lovely Street and see that, instead of a normal view of the hills, a huge mountain has risen up.

Curious, I walk to the five corners (where Main Street intersects 4 others), cross the street and begin to climb the mountain.

This mountain is definitely not New England.  Instead it looks like a mound of dirt with desert plants and prickly pear dotting its landscape.

I find myself huffing and puffing as I ascend, and then I feel some kind of invisible ‘push’ which lifts my feet off the surface and floats me up to the top.

The view at the top looks like that I once had when I visited the Himalayas – mountain upon mountain as far as I can see.

If I look down, however, I can see Doriville in miniature.

My “Himalayan” vista was one I had for many years in the dream state, until I actualized it during my trip to Bhutan.

No guide has to appear to tell me what this means.

The vista to me always meant being at the top of the world, where I could see clearly and with purpose.

That it rose from my ‘hometown’ suggests that one does not need to stray far from home – wherever that is – to reach the top of the world.

It is a matter of perspective.

Ashunayetya!

Ending Comments:

I began this day feeling a little disheartened, so this little trip has really been a boost.

May it be the same for all those reading about it.
